Buying guide

Which X-Sense alarm should you choose?

Start with the risk, then choose between a standalone model and a connected system. Each line leads to the full product page.

Battery-powered smoke alarms that work on their own, with no wiring and no app. Most models in this range run on a 10-year sealed battery, so there is no battery to change.

Smoke alarms that send alerts to your phone, either directly over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi or through the SBS50 base station. Base-station models are interlinked, so every alarm in the home sounds together.

One unit that detects both smoke and carbon monoxide, saving space on the ceiling. Choose a standalone model, a Wi-Fi model or a base-station model that interlinks with the rest of your system.

CO alarms with electrochemical sensors and, on most models, a display showing the current CO level. There are freestanding, wall-mounted, portable and Wi-Fi versions.

Sensors that warn you about leaks, low temperatures or changes in humidity before they turn into damage. Some connect directly over Wi-Fi, others work through the SBS50 base station.

The SBS50 base station that links X-Sense devices together, a home security kit, a heat alarm and handy accessories. Useful for building a complete system room by room.
